tahini
Want to make my own hummus as we can't find any to our taste.Anyone know where I can find Tahini?

I totally agree - but I've searched for tahini and haven't been able to find it

You could try one of the two branches of Feigel's, but phone first as they're hard to find. The main one is in Lyndhurst at (011) 882 5305 or 6996, and there's a branch in Glenhazel at (011) 887 1364. Or you could ask the man who runs the best schwarma restaurant in Johannesburg - called, I think, the Schwarma, in Norwood, next to the Spar, on Grant Avenue and William Street, if he could let you have some of his.

Tahini is easy to find. I've seen it at Pick and Pay, Spar and Woolies.

Have you tried the humus at Fournos? Really good. So is their eggplant dip.
