expats rates
What would it be a minimum average acceptable yearly salary for expath including all the package, housing etc..?

Suppose it depends what you are doing, what your skill and experience is and if you will have family or are coming alone. But R350 000 would probably be alright....I think. Anyone else have thoughts on this?

There's a handy little overview of SA salary levels here: http://www.payscale.com/research/ZA/Country=South_Africa/Salary, to give you an idea of what locals get (not sure if it's up to date though). Expats on contracts would get more plus perks I would assume.
